Ladies skate silver medal, age 12

Intresting to see some youngsters doing very well at the X-games in skateboarding.
The first person to do a 1080 on a skateboard was 12, the other two who have 1080′d have all been 16 or under.
Also congratulations to the older bmxers, bestwick gold at 41, tabron silver at 39, nyquist silver at 34. Proof that ‘extreme’ sports is not just a late teens thing.

I prefer videos to photos. With a good riding photo it will raise questions, but I like to see the answers. Ie, how fast did he go and did he crash into the other tracks when he landed? I am surprised there wasn’t a catcher on the other side. Still the photo is the best riding photo I have seen in a long time (ok I dont get to see many photos anymore), to me its perfect. I the timing, how central the rider is, I like the location, I can see the station name.
I am sure most of us have been at a station and daydreamt, could I hop that? If I could what would happen when I land it?

Nyquist, riding jumps – also new jumps at murrays and locals doing new stunts

Don’t need any silly descriptions like you willy never guess the banger… its nyquist riding jumps, obvious what the videos going to be like
Nyquist was a stay at home dad then had a hand injury a few years back and it looked like it was bmx time over for him, like many of the other riders from his generation. He competed in the first ever X-games in 1995, and took a silver medal in the latest X games last week, 18 years apart.. and X games don’t give invites to just anybody, look how bohan got shafted.
